“Women participation in technology is my priority and that of the ministry. It is my aim to contribute to bridging the gender gap in Ghana and beyond,” she added.

She said, “the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization has a plan and is preparing the girl child to compete globally, and determination and planning is key in achieving a brighter future.”

Madam Boateng said they had also engaged Huawei to offer digital skills training to over 20,000 girls across the country and “we continue to grow that number.”
