KRIF Ghana launches nationwide 52 free safes distribution

Tema, Nov. 11, GNA – KRIF Ghana Limited, has launched a nationwide donation campaign, which seeks to give away 52 diplomat office safe to 52 corporate bodies within 52 weeks at the premises of the Ghana News Agency in Tema.

The Krif Ghana dealers in money handling machines, office equipment and stationery, said the nationwide Free 52 Diplomat Safe Donation campaign, forms part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility to give back to society even in the midst of COVID-19 business difficulties.

Mrs Susan Awura Adjoa Okosun, Executive Director of KRIF Ghana Limited, said the initiative was to help lift financial weight off loyal customers and general public who have the need to purchase safes for their offices, but could not as a result of the global economic and financial hard moments, a outcome of COVID-19 pandemic, which had hit the world.

She said prior to the advent of COVID-19, the company, for over 35 years of operation, have engaged in diverse promotions, projects and activities to cushion and support loyal and faithful customers in times of economic and financial crises.

Mrs Okosun said to ensure for appropriate keeping of documents and valuable items, Krif Ghana Limited, deemed it important to embark on these projects for customers and general public to acquire safes for their offices.

She said the assorted Diplomat Brand Safes were fire proof, burglar-proof, waterproof and other unique features.

She said the safes would be donated to organizations nominated by the sales and customer service staff of KRIF Ghana Limited, while the remaining majority would be nominated by individuals, organization and public.

Mr Francis Ameyibor, Tema Regional Manager of the Ghana News Agency, said that it was godly for corporate entity to reach out to 52 companies and entities within 52 weeks with 52 free modern office equipment to help protect documents against fire, theft and any other harm.

“We must always protect our properties against life’s uncertainties, in the corporate world, documents generated over a period of time serves as organization tradition. Without proper storage, the corporate entity is doomed, that is why Ghana News Agency Tema Regional Office considers the gesture as a fulfilment of divine mandate of KRIF Ghana Limited,” Mr Ameyibor added.

He said modern Journalism practice demanded a comprehensive dynamic approach to issues, which affected society, through which the Media provided a platform for proactive engagement and exchange of ideas toward shaping national development.

Mr Ameyibor noted that, GNA Tema commits to support the corporate world, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, religious bodies, Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies as well as traditional authority the platform to reach out to the world.

Institutions that participate in the official launch were Tema Metropolitan Assembly, SIC Insurance Company, PLC Tema Regional Office, Tema Education Directorate, Tema Oil Refinery, Nestle Ghana Limited, and Pioneer Company.
