Accra, Nov. 16, GNA – The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has taken delivery of new title belts for national championships.
The GBA took delivery on the belts on Monday, November 15, and would be used for the various national championships.
Mr. Roger Barnor, 2nd Vice President of the GBA said the acquisition of the new belts was part of efforts to give the Authority a new image.
“We are working hard to secure more belts for all the weight divisions, to make the championships attractive.
“The wait is over. Ghana’s new national championship belts are in,” he added.
Currently, there are many national titleholders without belts, due to the unavailability of belts.
