Bankyease (WR), Nov. 11, GNA – The Takoradi Central Church of Christ has commended the Ghana Police Service for lifting up their game against practitioners of social vices in the country.
“I want to commend the new IGP, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare and the entire Ghana Police Service for lifting up their game against all the social vices in the country,” Brother Dr. Daniel Owusu Asiamah, Head of the Church, told the GNA on Thursday.
He said many indecent activities especially from the pulpit must not be allowed to gain roots among the Ghanaian populace.
Brother Dr. Asiamah added that many more malpractices were happening in the name of Christ, with such charlatans duping unsuspecting seekers of God and causing fear and panic in the country and Christendom.
The Preacher of the Church of Christ was reacting to the recent arrest involving a Pastor and a Ghanaian celebrity.
He said, “anytime God gives a message to a prophet, he expects the prophet to approach the person in privacy or silently pray for the person not open declaration and why should it always be a doomed prophesy”.
The Preacher queried, “they only cause fear and panic every now and then with their doom prophecies which are directed at politicians, celebrities and the well to do in society”.
The Preacher of the Gospel therefore entreated genuine men of God to also step up their preaching of the unadulterated word of God to create better understanding among Christendom.
