Accra, July 4, GNA- Hassacas Ladies FC recoded a 2-0 score line over Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC to lift their first Women’s FA Cup trophy played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
This would be the Sekondi-based club’s second title of the season after beating Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the Women’s Premier League finals a week ago.
Two goals from Doris Boaduwaa and Milot Abena Pokuaa in the first half ensured that Coach Yussif Basigi’s charges recorded their second victory over Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the 2020/21 season.
At the end of the game, Sonia Opoku of Ampem Darkoa Ladies was crowned the player of the match after her sterling showdown for her side and also won the overall most valuable player of the season.
The best goalkeeper of the tournament went to Ampem Darkoa Ladies’ shot-stopper Evelyn Yeboah while Hasaacas Ladies gaffer Yusif Basigi was named the best coach of the tournament.
