Accra, June 26, GNA – The industry edition of the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) was held at the Accra Internaational Conference Centre on Friday, June 25, 2021.
The first batch of awards saw Kofi Kinaata win the Song Writer of The Year award for the fourth consecutive time making him the first artiste to set this record in the category.
Musical duo Keche were adjudged the Best Group of the Year while Adina won the Record of the Year award.
The sound engineer award went to astute music producer Richie Mensah while Nanka grabbed the Unsung Artiste of the Year.
The second night of the awards gala would witness the crowning of Artiste of the Year, The Most Popular Song of the Year, Best Gospel Artiste, among many others.
