Accra, May 14, GNA – The games are coming in thick and fast for all 18 Premier League clubs as the league enters its final phase with 10 matches to go.
League leaders Kotoko would be looking to extend their lead at the top of the table as they face off against Liberty Professionals, a side they beat 2-0 in the first round.
The Porcupine who are first with 44 points are currently on a three-match unbeaten streak and with a four-point gap on arch-rivals Hearts, Medeama, and Great Olympics.
Liberty Professionals would be looking to rescue their season with a big scalp against Kotoko and would fancy their chances as they are yet to lose a game at their newly adopted home ground, Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.
Hearts, after breaking Bechem United’s unbeaten home record, would host, Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Phobians would be looking to close in on Kotoko at the top as the quest to annex this year’s league title remains on course.
Medeama who surprisingly lost at home to WAFA face a daunting task when they travel to Dormaa to face a resurgent Aduana side who delivered an impressive comeback against Great Olympics in midweek.
Inter Allies would have to secure maximum points if they are to rescue their relegation woes when they host Berekum Chelsea in Dawu, likewise King Faisal who face Bechem United in Techiman.
WAFA would look to bounce back from their first home defeat against Great Olympics as they host Legon Cities who have struggled on the road with one win away.
