Hardford Motors donates to National Chief Imam to mark Eid-Ul-Fitr

Accra, May 15, GNA – Hardford Motors has donated assorted items to the National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, to mark the Islamic Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations.

The donation was done on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer of Hardford Motors, Mr. Yasser Alia.

The items included bags of Rice, Boxes of Large-size Frytol Oil, Packs of canned Malt Drinks, Packs of Cocktail drinks, Boxes of Fruitelli Juice, Cartons of Nestle Milo, Packs of Tissues; Packs of Bottled Water, Boxes of Liquid Soap, Cartons of Sugar, Boxes of Mackerel Fish and Cartons of Milk.

The team also presented a cash amount of GH¢ 1,000 (One Thousand Ghana Cedis) to the Chief Imam.

Mr. Samuel Asante Mensah, the Aide to the CEO, presenting the items, said the gesture was part of the Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR Projects) of the Company.

He said the donation was also meant to demonstrate a special love to Muslims after a month-long period of Ramadan fasting and for praying for the development and peace of Mother Ghana.

“We, at Hardford Motors, are glad to join this year’s celebrations in the spirit of Ramadan and Eid-Ul Fitr. Indeed this is our contribution to the Chief Imam on this special season of Eid-Ul-Fitr.

…We also support and commend the Chief Imam for his remarkable contributions to consolidating Ghana’s peace since everyone sees and recognizes him as our Model of Peace,” Mr. Asante Mensah said.

He urged all Muslims across the country to celebrate the season in moderation because of the COVID-19 Pandemic and observe all safety protocols to avoid any further spread of the disease.

Dr. Sharubutu expressed appreciation to the Hardford Motors team and offered prayers for the staff and management and also growth of their business.

Mr. Michael Brown, Deputy Director of Hardford Motors, offered some auto-check advice to motorists and the public

“We call on the general public and all motorists to have periodic checks on their cars because safety on the road is the most important thing when you are driving, ” he said.

The Hardford Motors delegation was led by Mr. Samuel Asante Mensah, Personal Aide to the CEO, Mr. Yasser Alia, Deputy Director of Hardford Motors, Mr. Brown, and the Media Relations Manager for Hardford Motors, Mr. William Nana Yaw Beeko.
