Accra, March 2, GNA – The National Under-20 Team, the Black Satellites of Ghana have set a date with Uganda in the finals of the 2021 Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
The Satellites defeated old foes The Gambia by a lone goal courtesy Precious Baah in the semi-final game last Monday, whilst Uganda recorded a 4-1 victory over Tunisia to book a final slot.
The two sides would meet on Saturday, on Saturday, March 6 at the Stade Olympique de Nouakchott in Mauritania to decide winner of the competition.
This would be Ghana’s sixth appearance at the final of the U-20 AFCON while Uganda is making a debut in the finals of the competition.
Ghana had won the competition on three occasions, 1993, 1999, and 2009 and a win on Saturday will take Ghana to four U-20 AFCON trophies.
