CACI holds farewell service for Reverend Nyarko

New Atuabo (W/R), March 22, GNA – The Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), has organized a farewell service for Reverend and Mrs Nyarko at the New Atuabo branch in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality of the Western Region.

Reverend Philip Kwabena Nyarko has worked for 29 years at Old Tafo, Kwadaso North, Amakom, Atwima Koforidua, Ashanti Region B, Goaso and Tema Community Six as area head, area secretary to the TUC, area financial secretary, local and regional pastor.

Rev. Nyarko was employed as a typist in 1992 at the then Christ Apostolic Church of Ghana, but due to his loyalty and hard work he was engaged as a Minister in 1993 and retired in 2021.

He was in charge of Tarkwa Area and was subsequently reposted to Akoon as the local and Circuit Pastor till his retirement.

Rev. Nyarko was born on 14th February 1956 at Asante Effiduase in the Ashanti Region and he is married and blessed with seven children.

The Territorial Head Western ‘C’, Apostle Samuel Sackey Achim, who delivered the sermon on the theme “what shall we have” congratulated Rev. and Mrs. Nyarko for their meritorious service and wished them well in all their endeavours.

He encouraged him to maintain his integrity even on retirement to promote the business of God.

Apostle Achim also charged Rev. Nyarko’s children to ensure that they follow the legacy their father had left in the church.

He thanked members and well-wishers for the goodwill both in cash and kind to Rev. Nyarko and his family.

The Field Director of CACI, Apostle Enock Osafo, on behalf of the Church presented a cheque with an undisclosed amount to Rev. Nyarko and announced that a three bedroom apartment has been constructed for him and family.

The leadership of Akoon branch of CACI also presented a Chevrolet saloon car to Rev. Nyarko for the love he had for the members.

Rev. Nyarko on his part expressed gratitude to the Church for the farewell service and thanked God for taking him through the ministerial work and now retiring.

He thanked his wife, children and church members for their encouragement and commitment while in service.
