Ghanaians asked to take Covid-19 safety protocols serious

Nsawam (E/R), Feb. 12, GNA – Superintendent Marian Osei Adu, the Nsawam District Police Commander has called on Ghanaians to seriously abide by the Covid-19 safety protocols to help curb the spread of the deadly virus.

She reminded the citizenry not to forget to wear their face masks, wash their hands under running water and to apply hand sanitizers regularly.

Supt Adu made the called in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Nsawam, when she led a team of Police personnel from the Nsawam District to educate the public at lorry stations and markets in the district on the government’s directives on the use of face masks, washing of hands and the use of sanitizers to prevent the spread of the disease.

She said the personnel would continue with the Covid-19 safety education exercise in churches and mosques to ensure that the message goes down well with the people in the area to save their lives.
