Adaklu Ways (V/R), Dec. 01, GNA – Ms Rita Avevor, Adaklu District Electoral Officer on Monday disclosed that only 63 people are taking part in the special voting in the district tomorrow.
She said the number included members of the security services, the media, and those who would be engaged in special duties on December 7.
Ms Avevor who disclosed in a telephone interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) said they had all the necessary logistics and equipment for the conduct of the exercise.
She reminded those who would take part in the exercise not to forget that COVID-19 was still around and asked them to put on their nose masks before coming to the centre.
Ms Avevor also appealed to them to observe the other protocols at the centre.
She said three people were vying for the parliamentary seat for the area- Mr. Kwame Governs Agbodza, the incumbent Member of Parliament and the National Democratic Congress candidate, Mr. Raybon Evans Anyadi, New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate and Mr. Edward Agbovi the Liberal Party of Ghana candidate.
She reiterated the commitment of the EC to conduct a free and fair election.
