Effia, December 26, GNA – The 10 babies delivered at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional hospital on Christmas day have received various baby items from the Mobile Telecommunication Network, (MTN).
The babies made of three boys and seven girls, had three of them delivered normally, while seven were through caesarean sessions.
The MTN surprised the babies with soaps, towels, baby oils, detergent, lotions, dresses, diapers, powders, nose masks and sanitizers.
Mr Kennedy Ofosuhene, the Corporate Communication Adviser for the Southern sector said amid the COVID-19, the business felt obliged to honour such wonderful gifts of God to human.
“We welcome you our new borns into the world and the MTN family, here life is pleasant everywhere you go”, he added.
Mr. Ofosuhene said the company, with the annual support to some mothers was to help the children born especially on Christmas to enjoy a better world.
Similar gestures would be extended to mothers in Essikado hospital and other health facilities.
Ms Priscilla Norley Armah, Deputy Head, Administration expressed gratitude to the company for the help to mothers.
