‘Let’s all support the winner in this election to promote peace’

Accra, Dec. 6, GNA – Ghanaians have been urged to support whoever emerges the winner in the general election to promote peace.

“The Electoral Commission is a credible Institution and should be trusted to declare fair results,” Apostle Dr Samuel Obeng-Mensah said on Sunday.

Appostle Obeng-Mensah, the Senior Pastor of the Pentecostal Church of Christ, Power House Worship Sanctuary at Ashaiman, was speaking at a ceremony to Award him a Doctor of Theology Degree from the Alfred Nobel University, Ukraine.

He said voters should leave the polling station immediately after casting their ballots and wait for the declaration of the results.

Reverend Professor Emmanuel Yao Nash, Representative of Alfred Nobel University, Ghana, said one should endeavour to do new things each day to ensure growth and prosperity in life.

He said the journey as an academic was one characterised with discipline, hard work and sacrifice, which deserved commendation.

Apostle Dominic Nyamekye, the National Chairman of PCC, said notwithstanding the challenges that came with leadership, it also had its rewards, and urged Apostle Obeng-Mensah to stand for truth and show the love of Christ to all men.
