Hohoe (V/R), Dec 26, GNA – The Hohoe Municipal Hospital recorded three babies on December 25, this year.
The babies included; a male and two females and delivered through Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD).
Madam Ewurama Danquah, a Midwife at the Hospital’s Labour Ward, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the babies were in good health.
Madam Eyram Deh, a first-time mother who delivered a bouncy baby girl said she would name her “Kekeli” (Light).
She said the reason to name her child was drawn from the book of John which stated “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
“I want the light of God to shine in her life and all that she will do throughout her life on earth,” she added.
Madam Deh beaming with a smile said “it was not easy just as I used to hear people say it but I thank God I went through it successfully.”
GNA Checks at the CedarVille Hospital, a private hospital in the Municipality revealed that the Hospital recorded no delivery on Christmas Day.
Last year, the Hospital however recorded 12 Christmas babies; nine females and three males.
