Accra, Dec. 28, GNA – The Central Planning Committee of the 31st December Anniversary and the Office of former President Jerry John Rawlings will on Thursday, December 31, commemorate the 39th Anniversary of the 31st December Revolution.
In partnership with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the anniversary will be held at the Osekan Park on the Atta Mills High Street.
The commemoration of the event would be held in honour of the late Founder of NDC, former President of the Republic of Ghana, and leader of the Revolution, Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.
An official statement issued by the Central Planning Committee and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the ceremony would commence at 0830hours.
Highlights of the celebration would include Wreath-Laying, Parade and Commemoration from 0830 hours to 1330hours.
The statement said the Special-Guest-Of-Honour would be the former President and Flagbearer of NDC, Mr John Dramani Mahama.
The dress code for the occasion is black or red. All revolutionary organs, the public, and members of the Media are invited, the statement said.
