Christmas babies receive donation from MTN

Cape Coast, Dec. 26, GNA – MTN Ghana on Saturday (boxing Day) distributed 20 hampers to Christmas babies at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital (CCTH) to show love and care to them during the festive season.

The items including; baby diapers, oil, towel, soap, powder and baby lotion were distributed to nursing mothers to put smiles on their faces.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency after the donation, Mr Dominic Tweneboah Debrah, the Territory Sales Controller of MTN said it was the Company’s Corporate Social responsibility to show appreciation to mothers who delivered on the eve of Christmas and Christmas.

“MTN takes it as part of it social responsibility to share gift to mothers who delivered on the Eve of Christmas, we pray for these children and their mothers and hope they join the MTN bigger family,” he added

Mr Debrah urged all members of the MTN family to continue using MTN since it provided faster and reliable services.

Mrs Nancy Waaley, Health Service Administrator of CCTH expressed gratitude to MTN Ghana for bringing smiles to nursing mothers at the facility.

She said four mothers were delivered through caesarean and two delivered by Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD) on Christmas Eve, while the rest were on Christmas and Boxing Day.

Madam Georgina Amoako, a first time mother thanked MTN Ghana for making the day a memorable one for mothers and prayed that its operations continued to be smooth in the coming years.
