APC will restructure Suame Magazine into modern industrial hub

Adeiso (E/R), Dec 5, GNA – Dr. Hassan Ayariga, the Flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC) says he will restructure the Suame ‘Magazine’ into a modern industrial hub, if voted into power in the December 7 polls.

“I will restructure Suame Magazine into a modern industrial hub, where cars will be manufactured and that will be done in in just six months,” he said.

Dr Ayariga was addressing a crowd during his tour of the Eastern Region, where he visited Adeiso and Nsawam.

Suame Magazine is an industrialised area with many workshops for metal engineering and vehicle repairs in Ghana, employing an estimated 200,000 workers.

He said Ghana would “rise again” because the APC government was not going to make promises, but policies that would make institutions strong and stronger to work for Ghanaians.

Dr. Ayariga said if voted into power, he would institute unemployment benefits in the form of food and cash, provided on monthly basis.

“My government will absorb all financial burdens on pregnant women from the day of conception till they deliver.”

He said “we will build mining companies and train Ghanaians on how to mine legally,” and that under his government, the minimum requirement for recruitment into the Ghana Police Service would be first degree.

Dr. Ayariga said this was because the Police Service was a job that involved intelligence gathering and that made it imperative that “we pay extra attention to those who are recruited into the Service.”

Some key highlights of the sixty-point document include; building an all-inclusive government, setting up a national data system, creating nationwide job centres, providing unemployment food and cash benefits as well as assigning different passports to various classes of citizens amongst others.
The tour took Dr Ayariga to Nsawam, Adeiso and ended at Amasaman in the Greater Accra Region.
