Veep to speak on state of Ghana’s economy and prospect Thursday

Accra, Nov. 25, GNA – Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will on Thursday, November 26, deliver an address on the state of the country’s economy and government’s interventions, as part of the Nation Building Updates.

A statement signed and issued by Mr Pius Enam Hadzide, a Deputy Minister of Information, on Wednesday, said the event will come off at the Cedi Conference Centre, Department of Economics, University of Ghana, at 1900 hours prompt.

It said Vice President Bawumia is expected to outline the various interventions and milestones achieved under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo within the three years and 10 months in office and layout the next steps going into the second term of the administration.

The Updates is a weekly event organised by government under the auspices of the Ministry of Information to provide updates on key government’s projects, policies, and interventions.

The session will be aired live on all major television, radio, and new media platforms across the country.

Subsequent updates on other government events and programmes will follow in the coming weeks.
