Accra, Sept. 29, GNA – The National Sports Authority (NSA) has announced that some players of Africa Vision Football Academy, who met their untimely death a fortnight ago near Offinso will be buried on Thursday, October 1, at Offinso at 9:00am.
The seven players died on the spot when a minibus there were traveling on after embarking on player registration exercise at the district level.
A statement from the NSA said the burial of the seven players would be attended by the Offinsohene, Nana Wiafe Akenteng lll, Offinso Hemaa, Nana Serwaa Nyarko, Mr. Isaac Asiamah, Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Peter Twumasi, Director General of the NSA, and the District Chief Executive of Offinso, Mr. Solomon Kesseh among others.
The NSA has therefore extended invitation to all well-wishers and mourners to attend.
