Sefwi- Asawinso, (W/NR) Sept 03, GNA – A 29-year-old woman who delivered triplets in Kojokrom in the Bia West District of the Western North Region, has appealed to Philanthropists, religious and business orgnazations and the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection to support her to cater for her children.
Ms Mary Opoku, mother of the triplets told the GNA in an interview at Sefwi- Asawinso, that she already had two children before the triplets and that life was difficult for her to take good care of the five children.
She explained that, she lived with her husband at Dunkwa -on- offin in the Central Region, but had to re-locate to kojokrom when her husband got drowned at a gamlasey site few months after giving birth to the triplets.
Ms Opoku said she was unemployed and the family of her late husband too had rejected her and the children.
This, she stressed made life difficult for her since she could not take care of herself and the children, adding, “it is extremely difficult to feed them even on one meal a day”.
