King Ayisoba calls on Rawlings

Accra, Sept 04, GNA – Award-winning Ghanaian traditional kologo-stringing musician, King Ayisoba, Thursday, called on former President Jerry John Rawlings in Accra.

A statement issued by Mr Kobina Andoh Amoakah, Communications Director, Office of the former President, copied to the Ghana News Agency, said accompanied by his band and some family members, Ayisoba described the former President as a mentor.

It said Ayisoba, born Albert Apoozore, livened up the meeting with a rendition of his favourite, “I want to see you my father”, which got the former President thump his feet.
