Accra, June 19, GNA – The United Boxing Coaches Association of Ghana (UBCA) has expressed gratitude to individuals, corporate bodies, and the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) for supporting various gyms in the country with relief items.
The GBA on Thursday, June 18, presented assorted foodstuffs like rice, cooking oil, beverages, milk, and among others to the Association to be distributed to the various gyms in the country.
Mr. Peter Zwennes, President of the GBA who presented the items commended the coaches for comporting themselves well together with their boxers during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown period.
He warned that the disease was real, so the coaches must abide by the safety protocols, and handle their boxers very well.
He also commended the media who have been covering and reporting positively about Ghana Boxing.
Mr. Rashid Williams also known as “Believer” an official of the coaches association expressed appreciation to the GBA for the kind gesture.
He assured the GBA that, the items would be delivered to deserving boxers.
