Accra, June 5, GNA – PwC Tower has received EDGE Certification, an internationally-recognized green building certification system operated by the International Finance Corporation.
EDGE certification is a testament to a developer’s commitment to sustainability.
The Corporation rewards developers who implement strategies to reduce energy and water use in their buildings, as well as reducing the ‘embodied energy’ in their building materials.

PwC Tower, built by Goldkey Properties is one of the most dynamic working environments in the country.
It is an ultramodern commercial facility with high-end interior finishes, modern architectural design, and state-of-the-art mechanical systems and technology, offering the highest quality grade ‘A’ office space.
The statement which quoted Madam Fuseina Abu, the Managing Director of Goldkey Properties said “Given our position as leaders in the Ghanaian real estate market, not going green with the PwC Tower was never an option. Producing efficient, green buildings is an integral part of our strategy.”
Madam Abu said the certification would be a benchmark in sustainability for upcoming developments.
“Goldkey Properties’ goal is to outpace conventional buildings by being environmentally and socially responsible, and to improve the quality of life of its occupants”, it said.
PwC received the certification because of the sustainable features is implemented in the building environment.
Some of the features include the use of an advanced system of waste management which reduces the consumption of mains water, and a modern, integrated energy-saving Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system which efficiently filters the air, replenish oxygen and controls the temperature in every space.
