President Akufo-Addo eulogies late K.K. Sam

Takoradi, June 15, GNA – The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has described the late Mr Anthony K. K. Sam as a valiant Man who served his country well.

He said,”Agya Sam as we called him, also served the government very well as the Major/Chief Executive Officer of the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA)”.

Nana Akufo-Addo giving the 11th address to the Nation on Update of the COVID-19, therefore expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of the STMA.

The President recalled the late Sam’s contribution to fighting the spread of the COVID-19 in the Metropolis by ensuring social distancing in the markets in the Metropolis and how He the President greatly recognized and appreciated the effort in one of His address to the country.

“Sadly, He passed away on Friday, June 12, as a result of COVID-19 related death, he should find rest in the bosom of the Lord.”

The late Sam, had been described as an affable, hardworking and committed leader by many people in the Metropolis.

He was 62.
