Adaklu -Tsrefe (V/R) June 25, GNA – The Volta- branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has donated 100 pieces of plastic chairs to Adaklu-Trsefe community in the Adaklu District.

The Association also donated nose masks to the Community to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The gesture is in appreciation of the chiefs and the community for releasing four acres of land to GJA for an affordable housing project.

The chairs will relief community members of the burden of carrying individual kitchen stools to the community centre for meetings.

Mr Anthony Bells Kafui Kanyi, Chairman of the Association in Volta and Oti Regions said members of the Association were now part of the Community and would continue to provide support in diverse ways to accelerate its socio-economic development.

Togbe Edem III, Tufia of Adaklu-Trsefe who gave the land to GJA, commended the Association for the gesture and pledged to ensure that the items were put to good use.

He said the Community appreciated the work of journalists and ready to support the Association to advance the welfare of members.
