COVID-19: Ghana records 361 new infections

Accra, June 26, GNA – Ghana’s COVID-19 cases on Friday hit 15,834 with the Ghana Health Service confirming 361 new infections across the country.

The country’s health management body in its latest update, via a designated portal, also confirmed that 11,755 persons have so far recovered from the virus.

The death toll, however, increased from 95 to 103, with the active cases being 3,976 active cases.

The regional cases recorded include: Greater Accra Region – 9,070, Ashanti Region – 3,161, Western Region – 1,276, Central Region – 799, Eastern Region – 486, Volta Region – 331, Upper East Region – 271 and Oti Region – 108.

The rest are Northern Region – 100, Western North Region – 94, Bono East Region – 47, Savannah Region – 38, Upper West Region – 35, Ahafo Region – 8, North-East Region – 4, and Bono Region – 4.
