Kwahumanhemaa in Minnesota supports fight against adopted community

Kwahu Ahenase (E/R), May 29, GNA – The Kwahumanhemaa of Minnesota, in the United States of America (USA), Ohemaa Ofosuah Aduanwoma Ahoufe, has donated some items to support Kwahu Ahenase, a community in the Kwahu West District in the Eastern Region, which she has adopted, to fight the spread of the novel coronavirus.
These included veronica buckets, cartons of liquid soap, sanitizers and tissue paper.

The items are meant to help the people to keep to the preventive and measures recommended by the health experts.

Ohemaa Aduanwoma Ahoufe, who is also the founder of Nananom Royals Global Network , a US based charity, encouraged the chiefs and people to observe social distancing, use face masks, wash their hands with soap under running water frequently and to apply hand sanitizer to prevent the spread of the virus.

She pledged to go the extra mile to assist improve access to quality healthcare and education need.
Nana Okoampata Boateng, the Chief, receiving the items, thanked her for the donation.

He appealed to her and other benevolent organisations to help the community to build a clinic to end the situation where the sick traveled long distances to Kotoso to access health care.

He added that the only school in the community was in a deplorable state and needed urgent refurbishment, to make it academically-friendly.

He also underlined the need to establish an information centre to help the people in the community to become abreast with things happening in and outside the country.
