Dunkwa-on-Offin, May 04, GNA – The Denkyira Development Association (DDA) has donated quantities of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the frontline institutions helping to fight the coronavirus in the Denkyira enclave.

The items valued at GHC 100,000.00, included Veronica buckets, hand gloves, face masks, hand sanitizers, protective suits, soaps, detergents among others.

They were presented to the Denkyira Traditional Council to be distributed in all the district assemblies, which fall within the traditional council.

He said the “fight against the disease was not the use of guns and cutlasses, but staying at home without going out as well as regular washing of hands and the application of hand sanitizers”.

Mr Lokko appealed to all Denkyira citizens to strictly adhere to all the preventive measures and protocols outlined by the government to stay safe.

Nana Adjei Nkyere II, the Denkyira New Obuasihene, and acting President of Denkyira Traditional Council, who received the items praised members of the Association for showing greater love to their people.
