Bodi DCE donates food items to Muslims

Bodi (WN) May 12, GNA – The District Chief Executive for Bodi District of the Western North Region, Mr Ignatius Akwasi Amankwah, has donated assorted food items to Muslim communities in the District to support them in this year’s Ramadan.

The items include; bags of sugar, packs of sachet Milo, Milk and tea leaf.

Presenting the items, Mr Akwasi Amankwah told the District Chief Imam and his council that the items were to assist them to successfully go through this year’s Ramadan.

The DCE, who doubles as the Parliamentary candidate for the NPP for the Bodi constituency, pleaded with them to continue to intercede for the District and the country as a whole in the hard times of COVID-19 pandemic.

Receiving the items, Alhaji Shabu Ballin, the District Chief Imam, thanked the DCE for the kind gesture and promised the DCE that the items would be distributed to the various Muslim communities in the District and asked for Allah’s blessings for the DCE in all his endeavours.
