TT Brothers urges Ghanaians to help fight COVID-19

Tema, April 14, GNA — Mr Isaac Tetteh, the Managing Director of TT Brothers Limited, has called on Ghanaians to help the Government fight the COVID-19, which had claimed many lives worldwide.

He said the fight could only be won if Ghanaians adhered to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ghana Health Service protocol of observing constant handwashing under running water, the social distancing, the use of nose masks and staying at home as much as possible.

Mr Tetteh made the call when he donated food items, soft drinks and hand sanitizers to the SOS Village in Tema.

He said the company, as part of its corporate social responsibility, had been donating to the Village some 17 years ago during Christmas and Easter to have fun with the children and boost their morale.

He commended the Government, nurses, doctors and the security agencies for their immense contribution towards the fight against the pandemic.

Mr Eric Doudu, the Alternative Care Coordinator of the SOS Village, who received the items on behalf of the Village, thanked the company for its kind gesture.

He said the COVID-19 pandemic had brought in its wake an increase in the price of foodstuff, hence the donation would bring some relief to the Village and appealed to other corporate bodies to go to their aid.
