Accra, April 2, GNA – Office of the Vice President has donated over 10 Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), threatre aprons and 100 veronica buckets to frontline workers in the Birim Central Municipality in Eastern Region to help combat COVID-19.
Alhaji Ismaela Ibrahim, the Director of Operations at the Office of the Vice President made the presentation to the Birim Central Municipal Chief Executive, Ms Victoria Adu, at Akim Oda on Wednesday.
Alhaji Ibrahim encouraged all well-meaning Ghanaians and corporate entities to support frontline workers in their communities to help complement government’s efforts at providing essential logistics for personnel at the forefront of fighting COVID-19.
