Accra, April 3, GNA – Accra Hearts of Oak has denied reports that they have employed Serbian Coach Svetislav Tenasijevic, as its new Head Coach.
This was after the coach was reported to have said that, he would join the phobians when the league resumes.
Reports earlier in the week suggested that the Phobians were in talks with Serbian gaffer Svetislav Tenasijevic, who bodily claims he had been offered a job by Hearts.
But the Continental Cub Masters in an official Facebook post said “Hearts wants to reiterate that Coach Odoom remains our head coach and therefore calling on all Phobians to offer him the necessary support.
“We are aware of some mischievous characters always concocting stories to satisfy their selfish ends, but we remain focused and will not be
swayed by these false reports.”
Hearts also added that no deal had been finalise on any player since the commencement of the second transfer window.
“Hearts wants to place on record that the board has not finalise the player recruitment list hence appealing to all to disregard reports that its Managing Director has failed to finalize their signings.
The post added that its General Manager Mr. Frederick Moore has no special interest in some players even though he is currently providing free accommodation to some youth players.
