Bodi (WN), April 02, GNA – The District Chief Executive for the Bodi District in the Western North Region, Mr Ignatius Akwasi Amankwah has donated Personal Protection Equipment to the District Health Directorate to be distributed to health facilities in the area to fight the spread of Covid 19.
They are 7000 PPEs, 500 boxes of sanitizers, 1000 packs of tissues and 50 Veronica buckets.
Presenting the items, Mr Amankwah advised the people to observe the President’s directives on health protocols such as social distancing, washing of hands with soap under running water, staying at home and the use of alcohol based sanitizers.
The DCE who doubles as the Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the Bodi constituency, said Bishop Angloby Memorial Clinic in Bodi, Suiano Health center and Amoaya Health Center have been set out as isolation centers in the District to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr Joseph Abbas Asigri, the District Health Director for the Bodi who received the items thanked the DCE for the gesture and promised to ensure they were used for its intended purpose.
