Koforidua Regional Hospital denies COVID-19 case

Koforidua, Mar. 19, GNA – The Koforidua Regional Hospital has denied attending to any coronavirus case.
In a press release by the hospital signed by its Acting Director, Dr Cardinal Newton, said it had not recorded any confirmed case of coronavirus as being told on the social media.
The release urged the public to ignore the rumour and assured all patrons of the facility that the hospital had put in place measures to ensure their safety.
In another development, the hospital had also issued a statement to the effect that as part of measures to contain the spread of COVID-19, it would conduct only emergency surgeries.
The statement said the hospital had also limited the number of visits to the wards daily, stating that two visitors per patient out of which only one would be allowed a time.
The statement advised the public to wash their hands regularly and use hand sanitizers.
