Dawhenya (GAR) March 01,GNA – The Church Of Pentecost(C.O.P) Dawhenya Assembly and residents of Ososhie New Dawehnya in the Ningo-Prampram District have embarked on a massive clean up exercise in the community.
The over two hour clean-up exercise was jointly organized by the church and the Dawhenya Divisional Council.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency , Nene Martey Kwaku Aden II, Head of the Dawehnya Divisional Council, said proper sanitation practices was the best way to ensure good health.
He added that, it was time the residents became proactive in observing good sanitation practices to avoid communicable diseases.
Nene Aden II further stated that, the Dawhenya Divisional Council have incorporated clean up exercises on its annual calendar saying the event would be carried out frequently.
The Divisional Chief also thanked the Church of Pentecost Dawehnya Assembly for partnering the traditional authorities to clean Dawhenya.
