CHAN Qualifiers: Black Galaxies Coach Didi Dramani names 32 players for Nigeria clash

Accra, Nov.26, GNA – Head Coach of the Black Galaxies, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has invited 32 players to a pre-training camp ahead of Ghana’s 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria.

The camp, which began on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, saw players arrive as they prepared for a key two-legged qualifier against Nigeria in December.

The camp would provide the players with extensive training, including tactical exercises, fitness workouts, and training matches.

After the second week of camping (December 1-5), the squad would break camp for the national elections before returning on December 8.

Ghana will host the first leg on Saturday, December 21, 2024, with the return leg scheduled to be played between December 27-29, 2024.

Ghana defeated Nigeria in the qualifiers to advance to the 2023 CHAN tournament. Coach Dramani’s side would be looking to qualify for a second successive CHAN tournament, which would for the first time be staged in three countries, thus in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.

Midfielders: Hafiz Ibrahim, Abdul Karim, Manuel Mantey, Issah Yakubu, Slyvester Simba, Walid Fuseni, Emmanuel Antwi
