Ohawu (V/R), Nov. 21, GNA – The Kosmos Innovation Centre (KIC), in partnership with Ohawu Agricultural College (OAC), have organized a one-day bootcamp for over 80 women aged 18 to 35 in the Volta and adjoining regions, to equip them with essential skills for economic empowerment.
The bootcamp, held at the OAC, also aimed to inspire the participants, and support them to establish their own small businesses.
The participants learned how to prepare various pastries, including coconut rock buns, sausage rolls, and turnovers, as well as local drinks made from rice, millet, and baobab.
Madam Danlette Elorm Quashigah, the KIC-OAC Faculty Advisor stated that “the participants have demonstrated keen interest in acquiring these skills and were eager to establish their own entrepreneurial ventures.”
