Three health professionals to represent Oti Region at Excellence Awards

Dambai (O/R) Nov 15, GNA – The Oti Regional Health Directorate has announced the selection of three outstanding health practitioners to represent the region at the prestigious Ghana Health Services (GHS) Excellence Awards 2024.

The awardees, Mr Hayford Ofoe Zotorvie, Mr Etornam Kwame Tsakesuh and Ms Sara Anane, were chosen for their exceptional loyalty and contributions to healthcare in the Oti Region.

Dr. Osei Kuffour Afreh, Regional Director of Health Services said the awardees have manifested stiff adherence to delivering quality services to their communities.

“Your success at the national level will not only bring honour to yourselves but also elevate the reputation of the Oti Region’s healthcare delivery,” Dr Afreh said.

Mr Heyford Ofoe Zotorvie, one of the region’s awardees heading to the national GHS excellence award 2024, has vowed to deliver his best performance and claim the overall most outstanding staff award.

“I’m honored to represent my region, and I’m determined to make Oti Region and Ghana proud, I will stop at nothing to grab the overall most outstanding staff award at the national level”, Mr Zotorvie added.

MS Sara Anane, a staunch and outstanding senior midwife at Krachi East District Health Centre, has set her sights on lifting the image of the Oti Region at National level.

MS Anane, after emerging as the Overall Most Outstanding Staff in the Oti Region, she was confident of replicating her success at the GHS Excellence Awards at the national level contention.

“My regional win has motivated me to strive for excellence and I’m hopeful to emerging as the National winner”.

Mr Etornam Kwame Tsakesuh, a recipient of the Regional GHS Excellence Awards has expressed optimism about his chances at the upcoming national strife.

“I’m aware that the competition will be fierce, with colleagues from all regions vying for the top honors, I’m confident in my abilities and experience”, Mr Tsakesuh acknowledged in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
