Tema, Nov. 14, GNA – Mr Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, has embarked on a series of community campaigns to support Mr Yohane Amarh Ashitey, the Tema East New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate.
Mr Glover, who was a two-term Member of Parliament for Tema East, interacted with community members at Community One Site 14, whipping up the interest of the electorates to vote for the NPP candidate, who is also the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive.
He spoke extensively on the NPP policies, especially the free senior high school and health insurance policies, which respectively had ensured that students got the needed senior secondary education and Ghanaians received quality health care.
He said the candidate had proven his leadership capabilities and what he could do through the numerous projects he had embarked on as the MCE, therefore the need for the electorates to vote for him to represent them in Parliament.
The minister further said some of his achievements included ensuring the success of the school feeding programme in the constituency and providing schools in the area with learning materials.
He added that the Tema East NPP parliamentary candidate had also paved lorry parks and shaped roads to make it easy for constituents to easily move and engage in their businesses.
He also urged them to vote for Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, the NPP presidential candidate, on December 7 to ensure that the party got the mandate to continue with their good works.
