Africa Chieftaincy & Culture Awards USA set for December 15

Accra, Nov. 13, GNA – It will be a display of African arts and culture when the 2024 edition of the Africa Chieftaincy & Culture Awards takes centre stage in Texas, United States of America.

The event set for Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Holiday Inn Express would see African traditional leaders honoured for their contribution to culture, especially in the diaspora.

Organised by Black Heritage Alliance LLC, this year’s awards ceremony is themed “Preserving and Celebrating the Rich Heritage of Africa’s Culture Legacy”.

According to the organisers, the ceremony would not only celebrate African traditional leaders but would also project the values of various participating countries.

“We want to recognise the contribution of our traditional leaders both home and abroad while keeping our cultural values irrespective of where we find ourselves.

“We have to come together and celebrate our food, fashion, and music, and we expect some musicians from Ghana to grace the occasion and make it a success,” said Stephen Ohene Agyepong, founder of the award scheme.

He added that they would be interesting side attractions where patrons would be thrilled with some intriguing collections from some of the finest African designs.
