Over 10,000 farming communities will benefit from road construction in Ayensuano District – DCE

Coaltar (E/R), Nov. 1, GNA – Madam Josephine Ansah Awuku Inkoom, the Ayensuano District Chief Executive, has said over 10,000 farming communities would benefit from a 36-kilometre road contract in the area. 

She said the government had awarded contract for the construction of roads from Owuram – Ayensuano – Suhum to link the main Kumasi-Accra Road at Nsawam-Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region.  

Madam Inkoom made this known in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Coaltar, stating that the first phase of the construction had started from Owuram to Yawbaah, which is at the tarring stage. 

She said government had also awarded contract for the construction of roads at Coaltar, Bepoase, Duodukrom, Dokrochiwa and Ayekokooso to help facilitate transportation of goods and services in a bid to bring development to the door steps of the people.     

Madam Inkoom appealed to the people of Ayensuano and its environs to massively vote for the presidential and parliamentary candidates of the New Patriotic Party during the December 7, 2024 elections to enable the government to continue with its good works.
