MP gifts Nkwanta South Municipal Education Directorate motorbikes

Nkwanta (O/R), Nov. 01, GNA- Mr. Geoffrey Kini, the Member of Parliament for Nkwanta South Constituency and Parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has donated four brand new motorbikes to the Municipal Education Directorate.

The donation is aimed at enhancing the Directorate’s operational efficiency and improving access to education in the constituency.

Mr. Kini emphasised the importance of education in shaping the future of the youth in the constituency.

He also said the motorbikes would facilitate monitoring, supervision and outreach programmes, and ensuring the education system remains robust.

The MP further noted that the motorbikes would help enhance the mobility of the education officers, improve monitoring and supervision of schools, efficient outreach programmes for rural communities and boost morale among education officials.

He said: “My commitment to education and healthcare underscores my dedication to the development of my constituency.

This donation marks another milestone in my efforts to create a brighter future for the constituents.”

Mr. Jonathan Korsinah, the Municipal Education Director, receiving the motorbikes during a handling over ceremony, expressed his appreciation to the MP for such a donation.

He said the donation will help the Directorates in their monitoring in the area of education in the Municipality.
