Bibiani (WN/R), Oct. 31, GNA-Mr Kwame Owusu Danso, the Vice-Presidential Candidate of the Movement for Change, has entreated the chiefs and of people Bibiani to change their voting pattern and vote for Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen as the next President of Ghana.
He said since 1996, the people’s voting pattern had been for either the National Democratic Congress or New Patriotic Party; however, the area lacked development to improve their lives.
He was speaking at a mini rally at Bibiani in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency of the Western North Region as part of his three-day campaign tour of the Region.
Mr Danso implored the electorate to vote for Movement for Change on December 7, to help bring practical solutions to the country’s current economic woes.
He said their transformational plan would include establishing of traders’ bank to provide financial support to businesses, equipping the youth with the requisite skills to undertake responsible community mining, and a special insurance scheme to address health issues for elderly people above 60 years under the Ghana Rural Ageing Support programme.
The tour afforded the Movement for Change Running Mate the opportunity to pay courtesy calls on traditional leaders in Sefwi Anhwiaso and Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Councils to introduce himself to them and ask for their advice, blessing and prayers for his political journey.
The chiefs requested the Running Mate to adhere to their campaign promises and remember them when Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen was elected the President in January 2025.
