Nkwanta(O/R), Oct. 28, GNA- A group identified as New Patriotic Party (NPP) Loyal Ladies in the Nkwanta South, Oti Region, has commended Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for his instrumental role in launching the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP).

The initiative aims to revitalize the Municipality’s deteriorated road network, especially the ‘long- overlooked’ Kpassa-Nkwanta road on the Eastern Corridor.

Madam Fuseini Ayishatu, Leader of the Group said the DRIP had provided critical equipment and resources, making a major step towards improving transportation infrastructure and fostering accountability for residents.

She also described the project as a game-changer for local communities.

Madam Fuseini also said the new equipment and road improvement would alleviate challenges the people had endured for years due to poor roads that held back development.

Other members of the Group emphasised the importance of solid infrastructure for community growth, noting that better roads would improve access to health care, education and markets in the Municipality.

They urged residents to support the initiative by voting for both the presidential and parliamentary candidate of the Party in the upcoming elections to ensure continued development in the region.
