NGO donates modern hospital beds to Langbinsi Presbyterian Health Centre

Langbinsi (NE/R), Oct 25, GNA – LifeNet International, an NGO, has donated three modern hospital beds to Langbinsi Presbyterian Health Centre in the East Mamprusi Municipality to enhance quality health care delivery in the area.

Mr Idris Buabeng, Country Director, LifeNet International, who handed over the beds to the facility in the Northeast Region, said the gesture was to ensure that patients had modern comfortable beds, which would enable them to better respond to treatment.

He said it was also to augment the existing facilities of the health centre to ensure quality health care delivery.

Madam Rose Atiah, Senior Administrative Manager, Presbyterian Primary Health Care, who received the items on behalf of the Langbinsi Centre, expressed gratitude to LifeNet International for the support towards quality health care services in the area.

She said the beds would strengthen the health system and appealed to other organisations to support the health facility in the area to continue to serve the people.

LifeNet International works to provide medical and management training to faith-based health facilities to improve upon quality care for low-income patients in rural and urban areas.
