Offuman, (BE/R), Oct. 22, GNA – Mr Frank Asare, an Election 2024 Independent Candidate in Techiman North constituency of the Bono East Region has built a police post and clinic in the constituency.
During a visit to the beneficiary communities, Mr Asare told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview that he constructed the police post and the clinic to improve security and healthcare at the Offuman and Adutwie farming communities, respectively.
He said he was prepared to do more to improve the socio-economic livelihood of the rural folks and urged the electorate in the area to vote for him when they go to polls on December 7.
That, Mr Asare, a legal practitioner, indicated, would enable him to serve the people and to bring the development of the constituency to the next level.
“As a legal practitioner, I am also seeking the mandate of the people to go to parliament to contribute my quota towards the formulation of good policies and laws that would improve the general wellbeing of the people,” he stated.
He said security, quality health, education, peace remained essential in building a better society for all and pledged to improve educational facilities in the constituency if voted as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.
Mr Asare said he was also putting up Information Communication Technology (ICT) centres and standard libraries in other communities in the constituency.
On completion, all these projects would bring remarkable improvement on the lives of the people, he stated, worrying that the constituency lagged development and there was therefore the need for the electorates to support and vote for him in the elections.
“If I get to parliament, I can do better than these,” he stated, saying he had plans to secure interest-free loans for women traders to expand their economic activities too.
He said the youth would also not be left out and stressed his readiness to offer employable skills training to fetch jobs for the unemployed youth in the area.
“I also have plans to construct sports facilities and set up youth training centres to help unearth and build the talents of the youth,” Mr Asare stated.
As one of the food baskets of the region and the nation by extension, he outlined his intentions to provide financial and other incentive support to the local farmers in the constituency to grow more crops and thereby enhance their socio-economic livelihoods as well.
The farmers would be supported with farm inputs and agro-chemicals and hybrid seeds, and storage facilities to tackle post-harvest losses.
Mr Asare said he is also a Chartered Accountant, a Public Administrator, and a Chartered Tax Practitioner.
