Accra, Oct 19, GNA – The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released provisional results of 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for schools and private candidates.
A statement issued by WAEC said the subject results of 377 school candidates and three private candidates have been cancelled for bringing in foreign materials into examination halls or colluding with other candidates.
A total of 569,236 candidates from 19,505 participating schools registered for the examination this year. In addition, 1,390 private candidates entered for the examination.
