Sefwi Juaboso (WN/R), Oct 18, GNA- Mr Peter Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PM Group of Companies, has provided a mechnised borehole for the Juaboso Senior High School at Sefwi- Juaboso.
The gesture followed water problems that had been confronting the school over the years.
Mr Mensah, popularly known as PM, in an interview with the media after a short handing over ceremony, said he was touched when the issue came to his attention and therefore decided to support the school.
He said this would not be the last time he would assist the school and assured them of repairing their faulty school bus and providing the school with entertainment equipment.
Mr Christian Dedjoe Djokotoe, the Headmaster of Juaboso Senior High School, was thankful to Mr. Mensah for his kind gesture.
He mentioned the lack of a school bus, fence wall, sick bay, dormitory, and poor road network as some of their major challenges.
Nana Ekwei Armah ll, Chief of Sefwi Juaboso, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the donor and appealed to the school authorities to ensure regular maintenance in order to serve unborn generation.
He urged individuals and companies to emulate the footsteps of PM to bring more development to the community and appealed to the government to establish a Teacher Training College in Sefwi Juaboso.
