The Ghana News Agency (GNA), has organised a Skills Development and Productivity Enhancement programme for its editorial staff drawn from all offices of the agency across the country.
The four-day programme, which was held from September 24 to 28, was the third in a series under the Post-COVID-19 Skills Development and Productivity Enhancement Project (PSDPEP), over a three-week period.
The training focused on preparing the participants in advocacy in the fields of Public Health and Infectious Disease, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, and Gender Issues.
The training also aimed at empowering journalists at the GNA with the requisite skills and knowledge to effectively communicate vital information in the post-pandemic era.
The Project is funded by the Africa Development Bank with Social Investment Fund as implementing partner.
